Welcome to Dancin' Jazzi! Our goal is to provide you with a solid dance education in a fun, nuturing and creative environment. At Dancin' Jazzi our students  learn discipline, self confidence, physical fitness, musicality, listening skills and  team spirit. We offer classes to students 2 1/2yrs. through adult. We specialize in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Liturgical.

Our studio has beautiful hard wood floors and wall to wall mirrors! We are conveniently located at 1921 Cedar Bend Dr., Suite A-142; corner of Metric and Cedar Bend. You are invited to come by and visit our studio and meet our staff. We think you'll be pleasantly surprised because "we're not your average dance studio."

Someone is available in the business office M - Th, 5:00 - 8:00pm to assist you with registration or just to answer your questions. We look forward to seeing you in the studio!

Announcing our 2010 Spring Recital, "The Magic of Disney"

Please plan to attend our 2010 Spring Recital, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 3:00pm. The recital will be held at the beautiful Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Manor High School. The address is 12700 Gregg Manor Dr., Manor, TX 78653.

Students from both Austin and Manor locations will be performing. All tickets are $5 6 years through adults

WE ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLING FOR OUR EXCITING SUMMER SESSION. CLASSES START JUNE 7, 2010 AND GO THROUGH AUGUST 20, 2010. YOU CAN ATTEND ALL OR ANY PART OF THE SESSION.....JUST KEEP DANCIN'! Registration forms can be downloaded from this website or you may stop by the office at the dance studio. Either way, we want to see you, "in the studio!"

Announcing our exciting Friday Night Adult Salsa & Swing classes!

That's right! Dancin' Jazzi will pilot Salsa & Swing classes just for Adults! Classes will be held each Friday night starting June 11, 2010. At the end of the Summer Session the classes will have a "Night Out" to put your lessons to work! We are now accepting names of those interested so that we can make further plans for the classes.  OUR SWING & SALSA CLASSES START FRIDAY, JUNE 11TH.  DON'T MISS OUT!

Kid Citi was wonderful! We received several reports from individuals reporting that they enjoyed themselves and are eagerly looking forward to next year! Thanks to FLAVA moms, Clear Communictions and Mocha Moms Austin for making sure the "little people" attending Urban Music Fest had a good time. It was truly an exciting day of fun filled events!

Convention/Competition News!!!!

February 6, 2010 several dancers competed their solos at the Starbound competition in Georgetown. Kathleen won gold for her Jazz solo; Khali won gold for her Jazz solo; Omarr won High Gold for his Hip Hop solo, Dainique won Gold for her Tap solo and DaNya & Kathleen won Platniumfor their Jazz duet and Highest score for duo/trio in their age division. In Top 10 Solos the results were Dainique(10), Khali(9), Omarr(3) in their age division. Kathleen was 2nd. in her age division.

March 13, 2010 we traveled to Houston to the LADF convention/competition. Stephen, Vanessa, Kathleen, DaNya and Jazlynn all received scholarships. Stephen received a scholarship to LA; the girls received convention scholarships. Stephen also won highest score for his tap solo.

April 17, 2010 the whole company competed at the Encore! competition in Kyle. All of our pieces won Gold, High Gold and Platnium. Lil' FLAVA competed for the very first time and received Gold for all of their pieces. Stephen received another scholarship; this one to Las Vegas and Highest score in his age division. Miss Melanie won a Choreography award for "Wade in the Water."

We couldn't be more proud of these young performers and Miss Melanie!
